Bruce Pittman Inc. planned and designed this gorgeous Union Station wedding day full of classic beauty and romance. He knew that the couple, Karla and Cody, wanted to have a traditional wedding design that was also warm and inviting. “Since it was a December wedding, the couple wanted to introduce rich cranberry, gold and green colors to celebrate the Winter season rather than a holiday feel. We opted to create a monogram that was carried through the wedding from invitations to reception decor that really branded the celebration.” The results were breathtaking, perfectly aligned, and otherworldly beautiful.
Bruce Pittman Inc. loved brining this cohesive, stunning wedding vision to life for Karla and Cody with impeccable design elements that will be forever remembered. One of his favorite details from the day was the couple’s monogram placed on an oversized mirror that hungabove the wedding cake on the fireplace mantle at Union Station Hotel. “We created the laurel wreath feel of the monogram via ruscus that made for a stunning design element.” Bruce Pittman Inc. also adored the backdrop of Scarritt-Bennett’s Wightman Chapel for the perfect Winter wedding ambiance. The colors, textures, and warmth from the evergreen trees and floral designs worked together to create such a gorgeous wedding day.
Bruce Pittman Inc. is a strong believer of carrying a theme throughout the entire wedding concept. From the floral design to monograms, there are essential, key elements that will brand the wedding design. Once establishing the color palette and vision for the wedding day, Bruce Pittman Inc. met with Forget me Not Design to begin crafting each floral element. Bruce Pittman Inc. planned the wedding tastefully and carefully from beginning to end to make sure that each detail meshed together seamlessly and beautifully. Close attention to every small detail is essential when planning any beautiful design concept, and Bruce Pittman Inc. is well-known for his keen eye and appreciation to detail! He also values the importance of reviewing the overall wedding design concept thirty to forty-five days prior to the wedding date to ensure that all details are still cohesive and well thought out. The couple and planner may have made revisions during the planning process, so it is key to reflect and make sure each detail is still perfectly cohesive in advance.
Each detail of the wedding day plays a part in orchestrating beautiful emotions for wedding guests as they enter the ceremony and reception. “Regardless of how formal or relaxed a wedding is, we want guests to feel welcomed into a warm and inviting atmosphere. I always say that wedding receptions are extensions of the couple’s home. We want guests to feel as if we are welcoming them into the couple’s home. To me, it’s all about proper lighting and use of candles to create these vibes!” From the choices in bridal fashion to the wedding invitation, each detail is key. Karla did an amazing job choosing the fashion concept for her Winter wedding day. Fashion is also design, so it is necessary to carry the color palette, textures, and floral design elements from the ceremony and reception into the wedding party’s fashion to create a cohesive wedding package. “I am a believer that each member of the wedding party (especially the bride and bridesmaids) are living art. They actually play a huge role of the design element by being present in the utilized spaces.” We know this stunning wedding design will be sure to inspire you in your wedding planning process!
