Elyse & Josh

Elyse and Josh are adorable high school sweethearts who met in biology class when they were seventeen. They were seated next to each other from the teacher’s seating chart. After graduating high school, they attended the same college, and the rest was history! They had a large, fabulous September wedding day surrounded by 200 of their beloved friends and family members. The bride’s favorite moment of the day was making memories on the dance floor with her new husband and wedding guests!

Josh proposed to the love of his life in the classroom where they met. He surprised Elyse by taking her to this special place and proposed right beside their old desks. About twenty-five of their family and friends were hiding in the classroom closet and surprised Elyse after she said yes! It was such a sweet, precious proposal that was perfect for Elyse!

Elyse was originally inspired by Kate Middleton’s gorgeous bridal gown when shopping for her dream wedding dress, but then chose something that she would have never originally envisioned. When she put it on, it just felt right. She loved the style and added an illusion neckline reminiscent of Kate Middleton’s with the help of her amazing seamstress! “I got my fairytale dress after all!” Elyse looked absolutely beautiful walking down the aisle.

Elyse and Josh had a classic wedding design full of elegance with gold elements throughout the design concept. The vision was sophisticated, classy, and timeless, and was executed beautifully! Elyse and Josh had an unforgettable wedding day full of love and celebration! From the bride, “Love is more of an action than a feeling.
