Allira and Ryan met for the first time during their high school years. They were always friends, but did not begin dating until years later, and then said, “I do,” last January as they were surrounded by 145 of their closest friends and family members. It was a magical day full of celebration and love that the beautiful couple and their wedding guests could never forget!
Ryan proposed to Allira during a wonderful vacation in a small camper van in Tasmania during Fall 2015. Before the vacation, Ryan secretly contacted a lovely gentleman, who is a retired jeweler, and they designed the perfect engagement ring together for Allira. “Ryan carried the ring all over Tasmania waiting for the right moment, and proposed at sunset at a place called Beauty Point on the Tamar River. After that, it seemed like the right thing to do was to crack open a Tassie sparkling wine and eat too many oysters.”

The couple’s dream wedding vision was brought to life at their old-fashioned, classic venue, the Fairfield Boathouse, which is located on a stunning river setting. The couple was married under a stunning arch designed of eucalyptus foliage for the most beautiful, romantic touch to their wedding day surrounded by natural beauty.
Allira and Ryan loved every moment of their wedding day from beginning to end. “The whole day was so happy. Being married by our good friend, Dave was pretty special! He did the most incredible job, and it was so much more personal to have a friend do it. We laughed a lot.” We wish the beautiful couple a lifetime of joy and beautiful celebration!
