Leah & Kevin

Leah and Kevin had a stunning Key West wedding day this November at the gorgeous Southernmost House. It was the perfect day for the beautiful couple as they were surrounded by loved ones in the serenity of the Keys. The couple had a few stressful months of hoping that the wedding day could still take place after the destruction of Hurricane Irma, but the day unfolded beautifully. Leah and Kevin’s dream wedding day was able to come true in beautiful Key West.

Leah and Kevin met in St. Paul, Minnesota, where Leah was studying dentistry and Kevin worked as an engineer. They met through mutual friends, and the rest was history! Kevin asked Leah to spend the rest of his life with him on a gorgeous summer afternoon on Lake Wisconsin on a pontoon boat. Kevin’s perfect idea of staging engine problems unfolded beautifully. He acted as if the motor stopped working right in front of Leah’s parents’ home. When Leah turned around, she saw Kevin down on one knee with the beautiful ring.

When Leah and Kevin saw each other for the first time on their wedding day, they were overwhelmed with emotion and were so excited to become husband and wife. A few happy tears were shed during the beautiful first look. The gorgeous wedding design had a romantic theme with gold and blush colors that looked elegant and divine next to the Key West crystal blue waters. The day was a dream come true with perfect weather from sunrise to sunset. The couple was married by Kevin’s best friend, and dinner and dancing followed the sweet, romantic beachside ceremony. The wedding guests enjoyed trolley rides to Key West local favorite, Sloppy Joes, to keep the celebration going after the reception!

“We were so lucky to have 84 guests travel to attend our wedding weekend in Key West. We reserved The Southernmost House for our family, wedding party and close friends to stay. We kicked it off the weekend with a pool party and later a meet and greet social hour at The Porch  Thursday night. Friday we treated our guests on an afternoon snorkel catamaran and welcome dinner later that night. Saturday was our wedding day again at The Southernmost House.” Leah and Kevin’s wedding day was absolutely magical; we wish the lovely couple a lifetime of love and celebration!
