What to Wear For Your Spring Wedding

Who’s looking forward to spring and all the beautiful, outdoor spring weddings that come with it? Spring is such a fun time for weddings with flowers blooming, fresh wedding gown designs, and new suit styles for the groom! You can go classic this spring or embrace the season and add brightly colored pocket squares or ties to your wedding look. We spoke with Street Tuxedo to find out what’s trending this spring and help you find the right suit.

When tuxedo or suit shopping, it’s important to pick out something you’ll feel comfortable in all day and picking out the right fabric and fit can make all of the difference. Temperatures start to rise in the spring so you want to pick a fabric that’s light like a fine wool. While most people associate wool with winter fabrics, when it’s finely woven it creates a luxurious and comfortable fabric perfect for spring weddings. Slim fit suits are also a go-to choice for grooms this year.

While many brides are choosing different colored dresses for their bridesmaids, grooms are still choosing one color for their groomsmen suits. To incorporate a little variety into the group, Street Tuxedo sees a lot of grooms choose different colored accessories for the groomsmen. You can have the groom stand out by wearing a different colored tie than the groomsmen or have the men wear different colored pocket squares to match the bridesmaids dresses.

Because spring brings in so many colors, you want your suit to compliment the bright colors. A gray or blue suit will pair nicely with all of the greenery and color in the rest of your wedding decor. Then you can add a nice light mint or petal pink pocket square, and you’ve got the perfect spring suit! Street Tuxedo recommends couples come in three to four months before their wedding day so be sure to schedule an appointment today to pick out your spring suit.
