Erin Barfield and Reid Davis met through mutual friends in college. Attending the same university, living in the same apartment complex, and going to the same parties, no one could keep the two apart. Reid decided to propose during a weekend getaway to Savannah, Georgia. After an early morning breakfast, the two walked down to the river where Reid proposed.
When planning their wedding, the couple decided to go with timeless and classic colors. It was also important for the couple to add personal touches throughout their decor. Two days before the wedding Erin decided to pluck magnolia leaves from the tree outside their home to use as place cards during the reception.
A special moment during their wedding day was when the couple exchanged gifts. Erin received a framed custom portrait of the couple’s first house together, and Reid received a notebook full of special things he did for Erin that reminded her of why she chose him. Another special moment was when the church doors opened and the couple saw each other for the first time on their wedding day. The entire day was one beautiful celebration.
“If we could describe our wedding day in just a few words, it would definitely be fun, full of friends and family, and a dream. We did not want the night to end. The entire day was filled with everyone that meant so much to us, which made our wedding day that much more special.”
