The clean lines and intimate atmosphere of the Headlines space is very inspiring. For this shoot we took the rustic look indoors. Proof you don’t have to be in a barn or an old warehouse to make lots of greens work. The textures of the greenery, the natural wood chairs with the bent wood frames paired with the warm tones of the metals creates an elegant, inviting atmosphere perfect for a Nashville inspired wedding or event.
It’s important not to overdo a small space. For the ceremony, keeping it simple with white hydrangea and mixed greenery elevates the design. The gold vases paired with the layers of floating candles add warmth and romance to the room.
For the reception, texture is what it is all about. Creating a base of greenery with some simple Queen Anne’s lace was all that was needed for this simple but elegant look. This allowed all the elements to shine, especially the copper bowl and gray linen table cloth. A focal point in the reception is the wedding cake. This two tier cake with a vanilla buttercream icing is perfect for an intimate wedding reception.
Spring Green and White was the concept for the bouquet. A free, loose design of greens consisting of bakers fern, Italian Ruscus and Italian variegated pitt serve as a base for the classic white scabiosa, stars of Bethlehem, Queen Anne’s lace and white veronica.
To highlight the elongated room, our focal point was the head table. We utilized a “king’s table” size, which is 48” wide to allow for service on both sides of the table and beautiful decor down the middle. We also utilized round tables as well as smaller square tables to add to the texture and flow of the room. All this served to create and relaxed, romantic, inviting atmosphere.
