Depending on what style of wedding reception you want to have there are a lot of options when choosing your place setting. The place setting can be made up of charger plates, napkins, menus, place cards, glassware, flatware, table favors, candles, china, linen, place mats, and centerpieces. Not all of these elements need to be used so be sure to pick and choose what works best for your wedding.
If you’re worried the place settings will take up too much space on the table, one easy way to declutter is to add layers. Instead of using a napkin ring you can do a special napkin fold that can also hold the menu card or flatware. This will help keep each place setting neat and tidy, and still looking like the glamorous wedding reception of your dreams.
