Holly and James had a gorgeous Key West wedding on November 5, 2015 that they could never forget. The beautiful ocean and sunny skies created the perfect ambiance for their romantic, beautiful wedding day. Holly and James met through a mutual friend that lived on Siesta Key Beach. They started dating and knew that they were meant to be.
James popped the question during a moonlit walk on the beach. He planned an evening of reliving their very first date, but this time the date ended with him down on one knee, proposing to the love of his life! They were so excited to begin their journey together towards marriage.
The beautiful Key West wedding took place at Ocean Key Resort and Spa with a beautiful reception to follow at Sunset Pier at Ocean Key Resort and Spa. Holly and James wanted to have an island shipwreck theme, perfect for a fun Key West wedding experience. Their cake included an incredible ship design with two starfish toppers wearing sunglasses, a great addition to their fabulous design and decor.
Holly and James had the wedding day of their dreams. When they saw each other for the first time, they knew that waiting almost eight years to get married was worth it for this special moment. From Holly and James: “It was a a warm and breezy day, typical of Key West. Everything went as planned and could not have been better. The setting was perfect for a couple who spends every free moment on the water. It was a day we both will not forget.”
