In just a few short weeks, Hotel Indigo will be hosting a public unveiling of Mark Cowden’s beautiful art piece called The Wanderer. It embodies Nashville in the form of renown, Nashville staple Printers Alley and the rich history it has bestowed on Music City.
Mark grew up in a family of artists, so it was no surprise that he pursued art as his career goal. Mark attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and then finished up at the University of Tennessee, receiveing his BFA.
He works primarily in oils, but Mark’s newest series of paintings also include other forms of mixed media, including craft paper and twine.
“I have a deep drive to create, and I am constantly exploring new possibilities and forms of artistic expression.”
Mark’s outstanding piece, The Wanderer, will be unveiled at Hotel Indigo on April 22 and is open for the public of Nashville. Mark will be hosting an “artist talk,” as well, about his work is presented.
This is a great opportunity to go see one of Nashville’s hottest wedding venues – Hotel Indigo – at a more exciting, candid time, and it’s a great chance to experience Nashville’s art scene along with other locals and art lovers!
