Middle Tennessee is full of stunning, unique wedding venues, and one that we absolutely adore is Capitol Theatre in Lebanon, Tennessee. Once a beautiful movie theatre opening in 1949, Capitol Theatre is full of history and charm that will blow you lovely brides away.

Your name in lights is just the beginning of your dream wedding day at Capitol Theatre. The wedding day should be all about the couple and their vision. The accumulation of every detail and every decision comes together on this day. The wonderful staff at Capitol Theatre understands this idea and makes sure your experience is flawless and stress-free!

The grand opening of Capitol Theatre on December 9, 1949 brought the citizens of Lebanon to the movies, who saw Betty Grable in Technicolor, according to the very first projectionist at the theatre, Ernest Weatherly. It was his job to set up and operate the motion picture projection and sound-reproducing equipment to produce coordinated effects on the big screen. The beloved theatre was reopened in June of 2013 becoming a multi-purpose venue for movies, concerts, private events, and weddings. Brides and grooms love the history existing throughout the venue, making Capitol Theatre such a special location for a wedding day.
