One of the most beautiful ways to embrace the lovely Winter season in your wedding is through gorgeous floral design. We recently spoke with incredibly talented floral designer, Angel Rodriguez from Rodristudio, about different ways to incorporate the beauty of Winter through your lovely florals!
Many of Rodristudio’s clients request an elegant and subtle white- Winter- wonderland styled wedding; others prefer more rustic and lush floral centerpieces that are layered with different white or red flowers with seasonal greens and silver accents, or even curly willow branches! Both of these beautiful styles are perfect for the Winter season.
When it comes to Winter color palettes, the beauty of the season can come to life with so many fabulous colors and textures. Many brides choose classic white mixed with ivory and buttercream yellows with hints of dusty grey while some embrace the rich reds and purples of the season.
Rodristudio loves experimenting with all year round blooms by mixing them with accents of silver seeded eucalyptus, silver brunia, or dusty miller for an extra frosty affect. Also, adding hypericum or peppermint berries for a seasonal appeal creates a beautiful display.
“My style is a more structured and elegant type of design; I always prefer an all white wedding with a classy and structured design. For example, a compacted arrangement with hydrangeas and rose with cascading orchids. However, some clients still prefer the more unstructured, organic look while adding different textures with foliages that reflect the Winter season.”
We hope you get inspired by these beautiful Winter floral ideas, and we know your wedding will be a dreamy Winter wonderland!
