Alana and Tony made their way back to each other in 2011 after breaking up years prior. They still remained friends even though their romantic relationship had ended. After spending more time together than apart, they gave it another chance. They stayed true to the saying, “If you love something let it go. If it comes back to you it’s yours.” Their love for one another withstood the test of time, and the rest is still being written!
They were married in the Coconut Grove area at The Cruz Building, which boasts atrium ceilings and European charm. This three floor venue had everything needed to transport guests to another world without even leaving the Coconut Grove city limits. The Cruz Building screams opulence! The guests were greeted by stained-glass windows, 24-karat gold detail, rich mahogany carvings, and marble staircases fit for royalty. The bride said it best, “It is romantic, elegant and vastly unique!” The outdoor terraces and interior balconies were the perfect backdrop for their nuptials, and made for breathtaking glimpses back to the special day.
The guests were given light hors d’oeuvres with champagne and spa water upon arrival. The ever popular “Thinking Out Loud,” by Ed Sheeran was played as the groom and wedding party walked down the aisle. The bride chose the Etta James classic “At Last” to make her entrance, which was played by violin, guitar, and flute. After the ceremony guests were brought up to the second floor for a cocktail hour of passed hors d’oeuvres. Guests were then taken to the third floor for the reception, and were able to take in the breathtaking views on the terrace.
Alana and Tony had a truly magical wedding. “The day was absolutely magical and perfect in every way! We couldn’t have chosen a better team to make all of our wishes come to life!”
