Recently, seating styles at weddings have evolved into more modern, unique layouts than traditional assigned seating. Many brides are mixing up their seating with fun, modern designs of tables and chairs for a fresh approach to seating and lounging. To gain some more insight about wedding seating this season, we spoke with Liberty Party Rental, and we just love the trendy ideas that were shared with us!

Liberty Party Rental is seeing a lot of brides mix and match table shapes. Rectangular farm tables mixed with round tables with linen are very popular this season as well as very long kings tables!

“Seating definitely contributes to a wedding theme.” Many brides are incorporating a lounge or cocktail feel into their weddings by incorporating more highboys and barstools instead of traditional round tables with linen. This way, guests are more likely to mingle with one another instead of having an assigned seat all night! This style is also great for buffet weddings or weddings with light bites. Seated dinners are still popular, but you can make them more interesting by mixing table sizes and shapes, and adding lounge seating to your floorplan!
Liberty Party Rental loves to see brides incorporate unique seating into their wedding receptions. Mixing lounge furniture with tables is a great way to do that. Liberty Party Rental offers curved radius benches that look great with round tables. Banquettes and farm benches are other great options for seating on an 8′ table or a farm table!

When choosing the style of seating you would love for your wedding, ask yourself what kind of feel you want to circulate your wedding and play on this. Also, consider the food that you want to serve your guests; food plays a big factor in seating. Served and plated dinners will most likely require individual seating while cocktail receptions and buffet style dinners can have seating for about half of the guests with highboy tables or lounge seating for the remaining guests to enjoy!
