Last night marked the 72nd Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles and the stars brought the glamour! There were so many white gowns on the red carpet last night which had us wedding folk swooning at every turn! I also love the use of metallics, a continued trend in the wedding industry. Above are some of the stunning white and metallic looks of the night (with their designer’s below.. and also Amal Alamuddin because how could you not include Ms. Clooney with those gloves!) but my two favorite looks of the night were brought to you by Reese Witherspoon and Lupita Nyong’o.
Reese Stunned in Calvin Klein and beautiful Old Hollywood waves that would be perfect for the urban/glam bride. So classic with still a touch of playfulness with the sparkle. Lupita wore Giambattista Valli couture and although it would be quite a bold statement for a bridal gown, I am too obsessed with her look to not share it will you all! Perhaps it just goes to show how lovely and ladylike the combo of ivory and lilac are. So stunning!
