Patricia and Nicholas

Patricia and Nicholas’ wedding was as romantic as they come. They wed Valentine’s Day 2014 surrounded by family and friends, but more importantly, love. After meeting in New York City through fate and continuing to pop up in each other’s lives, it was only a matter of time until the couple decided to spend forever together.

The couple, framed by delicate baby’s breath, got married at Epiphany Catholic Church where the bride wore a custom Angel Sanchez gown that the bride described as “a very special privilege”. The couple then celebrated the night away at the Alfred DuPont building where culture was key.

“Nick is half-Greek, a little Irish and then some. I’m Peruvian. We wanted to make the night special for friends and family and give them a taste of our culture…literally”

The couple implemented traditional foods like Peruvian ceviche and Greek baba ganoush during their cocktail hour while the dessert table mimicked the delicious and artisan craft of Peruvian treats done in the style of weddings in Lima. The couple made sure to add Yiayia’s (Nick’s Grandmother) one-of-a-kind baklava to the spread! Guests enjoyed the entire evening.

“It’s really difficult to describe in words. But, in summary, it was the most special moment in our lives. Having every person you love under one roof, celebrating our love and commitment was just amazing. It feels like a dream, and it goes by in a blink!”
