Don’t Walk Down That Aisle Yet…

One of the biggest trends the wedding world has been seeing as of late is a revamp of the “Engagement Shoot”. What once was a loving look in an apple orchard has quickly become photos that are both stunning and incredibly creative. Engagement shoots are now as planned and as beautiful as the wedding themselves. More and more couples are striving for something creative, romantic, and of course, unforgettable when creating their “Save the Dates” and other wedding day trinkets. With creative options being available at every turn, couples are striving for photographs that are uniquely them.

Engagement photos are a great way to announce to family and friends your upcoming nuptials and to also showcase your style as a couple. Whether you keep it whimsical or more boudoir-chic, the choice is up to you in how you want to present yourselves. But these photographs are a great way to establish your overall wedding day style.

One route couples are taking is having a themed engagement session shoot. For example, The Great Gatsby took over our culture by storm last year, and that 1930’s glamour continues in weddings today.  One of our favorite venues that screams this old school glamour is the National Hotel. Built in the 1930’s, the hotel is tucked gracefully into Miami’s Art Deco neighborhood. Both vibrant and cinematically elegant, the National Hotel provides the perfect background for a 1930’s styled engagement shoot like the one featured here!
