The illusion neckline has hit the runway in a big way this year. It is a soft and sophisticated look that is attractive to the modern bride. A bride can have the coverage that a wedding elicits while still showing a hint of skin for a touch of romance. Details of lace and beading are displayed wonderfully on a bride’s skin. It is much easier to see the details of the gown against a skin tone as apposed to a white background. This neckline can continue into a full sleeve. I will focus more on sleeves in our next section.
