Let's face it ladies, we have all fallen victim to the occasional bad hair day. While any other day you may choose to hide your unruly mane under a hat, head scarf, toss it back into the ever faithful pony tail or desperately try to salvage your do by slathering on some product, these quick saves simply aren't an option on your wedding day. So don't take a risk, we all know hair perfection is best achieved with the help of a professional. Turning your tresses over to the experts will not only help create your picture perfect look, it will also shorten your list of tasks to complete before saying "I do". Expert hair stylist Kevin Moser of Element Salon is here answering our questions about all things hair!
Question: Why should a bride choose to hire a professional hair stylist?
Answer: Hiring a professional stylist will help to alleviate extra stress on the big day while giving the bride her desired hair style.
Question: When a bride chooses to pay for professional hair services, what can she expect to receive?
Answer: Someone that will listen to what the bride wants and help her achieve her desired look. A professional stylist will get to know the bride's style and personality to help create a look that suits her. This assures the bride will have a beautiful and polished look.
Question: Who else in the wedding party should choose to hire professional hair stylists?
Answer: All of the bridesmaids and the mother of the bride.
Question: What factors are important to consider when a bride is choosing her hairstyle?
Answer: A bride should feel like herself but polished. She should always have a trial run about two weeks prior to the wedding; this will help to avoid mishaps on the day of the wedding. On this day she and her stylist will have the opportunity to see what works best for the bride.
For further information or to book an appointment visit Element Salon's website at Element Salon. Remember ladies, love your locks and they will love you back. With these tips and a stylist you are sure to look a cut above the rest.

The perfect wedding dress is arguably the single most important garment of a woman's lifetime. For the bride, finding her dress may be amongst the most daunting of tasks leading up to the wedding. After all, that dress has to live up to a lifetime of dreams and expectations. What about you? The lucky devil on the opposite side of the aisle! Your bride to be will no doubt look radiant in that perfect gown, now it is up to you to look like the Prince Charming she always imagined. While "the perfect tux" may not have been something you have dreamed of all your life, our tuxedo expert Mark Street of Street Tuxedo is here to answer some questions and make sure that you look tip top on the big day.
Question: What should a groom consider when choosing a tux?
Answer: It is always wise to include his bride in the decision making process of what style of tuxedos to choose. Factors influencing that decision should be, what time of day the wedding is, where the ceremony will take place, whether the wedding is formal or semi-formal, color of the bridal gown and bridesmaid dresses, and other factors.
Question: Are there different styles of tuxedos that flatter different body types?
Answer: Yes, there are certain body types that look better in a particular style of tuxedo. Presently there are four or five different tuxedo/suit styles that are better suited for the athletic or thinner built gentleman, while the classic tuxedo may be more flattering for a more filled-out physique.
Question: How can a groom work with different colors and materials?
Answer: Color may be introduced to the decision making process by way of the tie and/or pocket square. Most very formal weddings will choose to stay strictly with black and white or black and ivory, depending on the color of the bridal gown. However, many brides go with color themes for their flowers and bridesmaid dresses. If this is the case, then it is certainly appropriate to bring some color into the tuxedo equation. Be careful not to go overboard with too much color, and remember this is a wedding not a prom.
Question: What is appropriate when working with materials, styles and colors taking into consideration the season and location of the wedding?
Answer: With weddings you can never go wrong with black. However, there are several new colors that are very hot and exciting in wedding attire. The Linen Destination suit and the Tan Moda are two very popular styles presently, as well as the Grey Legend tuxedo by Calvin Klein and the Grey Moda. The Chocolate Parisian tuxedo is still renting regularly too. These five tuxedos, as well as the traditional White Dinner Jacket, are usually worn in the Spring, Summer and Autumn time. All of these tuxedos/suits have been worn in just about any wedding venue, ranging from Church weddings to Estate weddings to Country venues and of course Beach and Mountain locations.
Another important bit of information regards out of town wedding participants. Because a groom may have guys in his wedding from all over the country doesn't mean he has to use a corporate box store from the Mall. All that is necessary is for the groomsman to go to a locally owned shop and ask for his measurements for an out-of-town wedding. Most are happy to help you with that, especially if the groomsman tells the shop that he will use their services next time he needs a tuxedo locally. We do out-of-town measurements all the time and don't charge a penny for the service.

Friday morning at 11am in London, and morning or afternoon around the world, England's Prince William exchanged vows with Catherine "Kate" Middleton. It was truly a classic royal wedding as Kate walked out of the limo escorted by her father in a breathtaking gown by couture designer, Sarah Burton. This was the moment that billions had been waiting for since last fall's announcement of William and Kate's engagement.
In the royal tradition, Kate made the four-minute walk down the aisle of Westminster Abbey to her prince. As William faced the altar, best man, Harry whispered to his brother how beautiful Kate looked in her wedding gown. Then Kate met her groom at the altar, who whispered to his bride how beautiful she looked. After the scared exchange of vows, the royal couple became husband and wife.
As they exit the Abbey, they were taken by one of the many royal carriages to Buckingham Palace. Then the moment the world was waiting for, the kiss at the balcony. Yes, the kiss came not once but twice to all of the views delight. This was followed by a royal early afternoon reception with hundreds in attendances.
After the reception, Prince Williams surprised his bride with a very 'James Bond' exit from Buckingham Palace in a vintage Aston Martin convertible. Another reception and an after party that went way into the morning hours later followed this. The perfect royal fairy tale ending to a day filled with elegances, traditions, laugher and love that over 2 billion around the world watch with cheers!
Finally at about 10:51am in London, after a six-month wait, Kate Middleton's wedding gown was revealed to the world. Billions around the world saw the beautiful princess to be, in a stunning and Oh so elegant classic gown before her Prince William. England's Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen designed the gown. Burton was recently named creative director of Alexander McQueen.
The gown was everything and more that we all expected. It was everything that Kate is to the world, sophisticated, elegant and classic fairytale beauty. The beautifully detailed sweetheart neckline was covered in lace. The fabrics used were French Chantilly lace combined with English Cluny lace. There were individual flowers hand cut from the lace and hand-engineered into the ivory silk tulle that created a unique and organic design. The designs of the flowers were of roses, thistles, daffodils, and shamrocks.
The gown brought back whispers of another princess of years past, Princess Grace of Monaco. In true classic elegances tradition, both designs had similarities. They were fit for a princess with the perfect touches of lace on the gown and a very form fitted bodice that accented the princesses' small waist. It was a very old Hollywood glamour brought back by Kate with a twist of modern flair.
At the second reception Kate changed into another of Sarah Burton's one of a kind creations. The reception gown was a satin, strapless dress that featured a similar sweetheart neckline as the wedding gown. It had diamante embroidery around the waist and the look was finished off with a fur shrug.
Now as the clock begins to tick, within weeks ladies, there will many look-a-likes from designers in your local salon. So, if you want to have the Royal Kate Dress, it's time to start your search. Make sure to check out the latest fashion from New York Bridal Market at Focus: Fashion section of Enchanted Brides.com and happy wedding gown shopping!
James Terrell, Jr. ("JT") and Jennifer Scheiderer ("Jen") hosted their wedding on March 26, 2011. It was important to them that the wedding definitely reflect their style and personalities, sophisticated and chic! After meeting with their wedding planner, Alice Hendry, they established that a chic, simplistic and monochromatic design was perfect for their style.
Photos by Divine Images
JT is a partner in Music City Tents & Events, so a tented style event was a natural to play a significant role in the wedding. So, wedding planning began by "creating a venue" for their wedding ceremony and wedding reception on the Walk of Fame Lawn in downtown Nashville. This location was just perfect and set the scene beautifully with the Nashville city skyline!
Photos by Divine Images
Jen grew up in a Lutheran Church in Ohio, so bringing a bit of home to the Nashville venue was important to her. Jen's hometown minister officiated the wedding ceremony. They incorporated a pair of beautiful kneelers into their service to bring a part of the Lutheran traditions into the ceremony. Their wedding rings were custom designed in a meaningful way with each hosting the other's fingerprints.
Photos by Divine Images
The sophisticated and chic reception design hosted several unique elements. The contemporary florals from Martha Greenwood of Big Events were an exquisite compliment to the overall design. The "J T J" monogrammed pillows were a keepsake and personal touch to the lounge sofas. The three square crystal chandeliers in the reception tent created a chic cocktail ambiance.
Photos by Divine Images
Jen chose a second gown from The White Room for the reception as a surprise to JT! The little white dress was a definite "party vibe" and "very Jen"! Jen accessorized the reception dress with a very chic pearl necklace hosting a silver bullet pendant. "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey set the mood for Jen's entrance on the dance floor surprising and "wowing" all in her cool party gown! JT and Jen looked AMAZING and rocked all night with their guests having the time of their lives!

Easter Sunday was the perfect day for Michael King to have the grand opening of his latest Monell's location at New Orleans Manon. This Easter feast was everything and more that you would expect from Monell's. Great southern food served family style!
This beautiful 9,600 square-foot historic home that dates back to the late 1800's sits on over 9 1/2 acres of land. It was built by Col. E.W. Coles, a retired railway president. In the 1940's, the city of Nashville acquired the mansion and later in the 1970's it became a well known seafood restaurant until 2010. Now it is the home of Monell's at New Orleans Manor, the perfect setting for a southern style restaurant and wedding venue.
Michael King and his staff have poured an enormous number of hours and love in renovation of the mansion into a wedding and event venue. Some of the renovations include hardwood floors, a beautifully refurbished staircase, a private bridal suite, a groom's room, known as the the man cave with soft seating and a big screen television, and lush gardens.
So, now as you walk into the mansion you are walking back to a world of rich southern charm and history. The perfect setting for an indoor southern chic wedding or outdoor garden wedding. This is the location where every bride's dream wedding comes true.
Make sure to drop by Monell's at New Orleans Manor for breakfast, lunch or dinner and check out the new transformation of one of Nashville's oldest southern mansions. You will be happy that you took a seat. Pass the bowls to the left and feast on great southern food! The name that is synonymous with weddings is now at every bride's fingertips. Vera Wang has launched her very own line exclusively with David's Bridal. "Every bride deserves to have great design," she says, which is easily seen through the beauty of each dress in this collection.

A lot of skeptics were worried about the integrity of her brand when she first announced her partnership with David's Bridal in 2010. But, Vera, being the astounding artist she is, proved them wrong. Her couture line will always exist, but to have something that is more accessible to the public opens her up to a whole new audience. She worked closely with the David's Bridal team to ensure that each gown was made to perfection – no differently than any other of her creations. Her respect for women and love for all things bridal is really at the heart and soul of this collection.

Jen from Arzelle's Bridal Formal talked with us about some of the trends for Brides and Bridesmaids for Spring and Summer. Two big looks, she says, are "Natural" and "Glamorous".
"Natural" with lots of lace and fitted silhouettes and "Glamorous" with full over the top ballgowns with beautifully embellished belts or full ruffle skirts.
Jen also says "
Texture is big....from ruffles, flowers, and flowing fabrics to chunky bead work & embroidery. Also....not only colored shoes: the girls are opting for colored jewelry in blush pinks, sapphire blues, or even charcoals."

Designs by Paloma Blanca, Alvina Valenta and Watters

Designs by Alvina Valenta and Lazaro
"For bridesmaids: still 50/50 on short vs.long. Definitely still hear the importance of ready-to-wear dresses....that being said girls are choosing lots of cocktail style dresses. Colors that are big: champagne & taupe, eggplant, navy, and charcoal."
