Loren & Michael

Loren and Michael had a stunning Key West wedding day on December 2, 2017, as they began their new chapter together as husband and wife. Thankfully, the couple was able to have the wedding of their dreams regardless of the destruction left behind by Hurricane Irma. Loren and Michael were devastated as they watched the news and wake of destruction in the passing weeks leading up to their dream wedding day. The couple began to shift their focus from small details to the big picture of their wedding day, celebrating their love with close friends and family. Loren and Michael felt beyond blessed that the wedding day was still able to happen and their loved ones made it to the celebration! Their wedding dreams were brought to life. “To see what we had planned and pictured actually come to life was simply magical.”

Loren and Michael met for the first time through mutual friends at a Zac Brown Band concert at Fenway Park on Loren’s birthday. Meeting Michael was the perfect birthday gift for Lauren! Loren and Michael fell deeply in love and began their beautiful love story leading to the amazing proposal. Loren is a registered nurse who works as a clinical coordinator in the Emergency Department at Boston Children’s Hospital. While she was away on a medical mission in Haiti, Michael picked out a dazzling engagement ring with his mother. Shortly after Loren’s homecoming, Michael asked the love of his life to marry him, and the rest was history!

The beautiful bride and groom said, “I Do,” under a driftwood arch during a gorgeous Key West sunset. The lovely ceremony was followed by a cocktail hour with steel drums as the newlyweds and guests watched the iconic sunset. As the sun went down on one side of the boat, the super moon rose on the other for a breathtaking evening. Then, the wedding guests made their way to Margaritaville Resort and Marina for an outdoor reception under a fully lined tent complete with chandeliers and twinkle lights for a romantic setting. The wedding day could not have been more magical or dreamy for Loren and Michael. We wish them a lifetime of love, happiness, and celebration!
