Cristina and Nick met for the first time at McNamara’s Irish Pub in Nashville. Their mutual friend, Jessica, planned a group dinner with the intentions of setting them up. They enjoyed an evening of sharing stories about their childhoods, laughing, and playing darts. When Nick dropped Cristina off at home, he failed to get her phone number, but she reached out to Jessica for his anyway. Nick loved that Cristina pursued him the day after they met. They immediately hit it off and became inseparable.
In May of 2015, Cristina gave Nick the wonderful birthday surprise of a trip to Hawaii to see his close friends, Scott and Maggie. He thought their trip to Hawaii would be the perfect opportunity to propose to the love of his life surrounded by gorgeous beaches and natural beauty. Nick knew that Cristina would love to be proposed to on a beach in Hawaii. He even found out that Waikiki Beach was made from sand that was imported from a beach only ten miles from where Cristina had grown up. He could not pass up the chance to propose to her there!
Cristina and Nick had a gorgeous Tennessee wedding at Drakewood Farm. They were surrounded by natural greenery and gorgeous, romantic floral designs. “One of our favorite touches was the flower wall hanging behind the bride and groom’s table during the reception. We added some personal touches, such as flowers in a swirl pattern by the arbor at the ceremony and wedding pictures of our parents and grandparents in the reception area as a tribute to some of them who could not be there.”

When Cristina and Nick saw each other for the first time on their wedding day, they were blown away. “Nick gave me a reassuring hug that took all my nerves away. The feeling was incredibly calm and I love him for that.” “I was reassured, that no matter what we faced in the future, she was the person that I would face every challenge and every great time with. I knew that I would be with her forever. I knew when I saw her that I made the right decision to marry her.”
Cristina and Nick had the wedding day of their dreams from relaxing and getting ready with their bridal parties to their romantic first look. “The feeling of seeing your partner before the wedding was very intimate and special. Nick had a huge smile on his face and we both were so happy to enjoy the moment and take it all in before the ceremony.” They ended the night by taking pictures in the photo booth and enjoying their signature drinks with their wedding guests. It was a night they will never forget!
