Beautiful couple, Jacques and Kelsey, met purely by serendipity in the Summer of 2012. Jacques recently graduated from North Carolina University and moved to Dallas to start a new job in computer science. He was invited to a friend’s wedding that Fall, and crossed eyes with Kelsey. They were both too shy to strike up a conversation that weekend. However, as fate would have it, Kelsey was returning to her home in Fort Worth after the wedding when her flight was cancelled. She had been rebooked on the next flight to Dallas. It just so happened that Jacques and Kelsey were on the same flight, and Kelsey had been assigned to the seat right in front of Jacques. The rest was history!
Jacques planned the perfect surprise proposal for the love of his life. The couple travelled to Cancun for Kelsey’s birthday. They had a lovely dinner, and then Jacques insisted that they take a walk on the beach. As they were walking along the sand, he said, “Look up at the stars….it’s beautiful but I’ve never seen anything more beautiful than you.” Kelsey turned around, and he was on his knee with the ring in hand. Jacques asked Kelsey to marry him with her mother’s ring that he had redesigned. It was perfect! “The range of emotions was extreme. Needless to say we cried, then we laughed and I said ABSOLUTELY! It was the most perfect moment and I will never forget it.”

Kelsey and Jacques had a stunning Key West wedding day on March 17, 2017. The wedding and reception both took place on the beach at the Southernmost Resort in Key West on a beautiful, warm March day. The gorgeous white sand and tall, graceful palm trees contrasted against the turquoise water on the horizon and the deep blue sky. Kelsey chose minimal, simplistic décor to let the natural beauty of Key West shine. Kelsey wore an elegant strapless gown and carried a cascading bouquet of dendrobium orchids. To the side of the ceremony was a large tent that provided an intimate setting for dinner and dancing. An elegant crystal chandelier also hung from the pinnacle of the tent for a touch of sparkle. The couple’s family and friends travelled from all over the country to celebrate this evening of love and celebration. There were various food stations and libations along with a terrific DJ that helped make the celebration for Jacques and Kelsey memorable! Kelsey and Jacques had the perfect wedding day, and we wish them a lifetime of love and happiness!
