Morgan and Taylor had a beautiful, romantic wedding day on April 23, 2016 in Key West, Florida, a special location that means a lot to the both of them. Before the wedding day, Taylor had chosen Key West as the proposal spot. He asked the love of his life to marry him on the steps in front of the charming Southernmost House during a lovely Key West vacation. After the proposal and some wedding planning, the couple decided to get married in Key West, and it was one of the best days of their lives.
After meeting during freshman year of college, Morgan and Taylor fell head-over-heels in love. Taylor planned the perfect proposal for Morgan; she was completely surprised and at a loss for words. They had just arrived to Key West for vacation and decided to go explore the beautiful island. They walked around looking for a certain private beach that Taylor found on the map, but instead, passed by a beautiful bed and breakfast, The Southernmost House. The couple had actually stayed here in 2008 for a New Year’s Eve celebration. Taylor asked Morgan if she wanted to take a photo on the steps, and then he got down on one knee. Morgan was completely in shock; she was finally able to speak and said yes! “I fell in love all over again that week.”
The wedding day was magical for Morgan and Taylor. When they saw each other for the first time, they were in awe of each other and overjoyed that their special day had arrived. The couple chose to have a simple and elegant wedding ambiance with beautiful string lights hanging over the reception area to create a twilight, nightingale atmosphere, which was perfectly romantic and gorgeous. Morgan and Taylor were so excited to celebrate their love and marriage with their closest family and friends in Key West.
“We both got ready separately with our bridesmaids and groomsmen. Our first look was in the garden/courtyard of The Reach; it was a beautiful, special moment for us. The ceremony in the gazebo was picture perfect, the weather was gorgeous and the decorations were beautiful. It was wonderful to see our close friends and family and celebrate. The reception was on the terrace overlooking the beach and gazebo. As the sunset, the string lights and candles illuminated our celebration. It was the perfect day.”
