There is nothing quite like a beautiful summer wedding in Tennessee. The bride and groom look so happy as they are surrounded by warm sunshine and beloved family and friends on their special day. Of course, the groom wants to look his absolute best on his wedding day, so we talked to Street Tuxedo to find out what styles of menswear grooms are wearing for summer 2017!
Grooms have been staying true to the suit trend for weddings this year, and this isn’t changing for summer. However, Street Tuxedo is seeing a wave of black tie weddings increasing in the South. Brides and grooms seem to be choosing more formal attire than in the past few years. “Of course we can accommodate any style, but we agree sometimes you just can’t beat that classic black tuxedo and bow tie look!”
For suits, grooms have been choosing a lot of grays and blues for their summer 2017 weddings, but feel free to show off your personality with a more bold shade! Street Tuxedo mentions that grooms are getting even more bold than the traditional navy blue and are choosing suits in cobalt blue. This bright hue looks incredible in the sunshine!
This season, Street Tuxedo released five new wedding styles, including three tuxedos and two suits. The tuxedos include the Clayton, the Jax, and the Sebastian. The Clayton is a crisp, white, modern-fitting jacket with a black satin shawl lapel that can be paired with black or white pants. The Jax is a sharp, smoke-grey, modern-fitting jacket with a black satin shawl lapel that can be paired with black or smoke-grey pants. The Sebastian is a classic, navy blue, slim-fitting jacket with a navy satin notch lapel and matching slim fit navy pants.
Two suits were released this season as well. The Smoke Moda, a modern-fitting smoke-grey suit with matching coat, pants, and vest, and The Cobalt, a modern-fitting cobalt blue suit with matching coat, pants, and vest. Each of these styles would look incredible on your wedding day! Heather from Street Tuxedo loves the Cobalt Moda Suit with a petal pink bow tie and suspenders!
The summer heat in Middle Tennessee is inevitable, but your incredible wedding day and all of the photos will make up for that. Street Tuxedo shares how to make the most of the warm weather at your summer wedding, “Something I always say when guys complain about being hot is that their comfortable season comes in Winter! Girls do get off easy when dressing formally in the Summer, but in the Winter, ladies are always freezing in their dresses! So even though it may be pretty warm to wear your full suit or tux, please do it for the photos! These are pictures that will be hanging on the bride and groom’s wall for a lifetime! Don’t mess it up by taking off your jacket too early! And in the meantime, drink lots of water and when the pictures are done, hang up that jacket and roll up those sleeves to get on the dance floor!” We love these great styles for your summer tux or suit, and know you will look handsome and dapper on your wedding day!
