Jannine & Hector

Jannine and Hector had an unforgettable wedding day on April 22, 2016 with an intimate ceremony at Coral Gables Congregational Church. The sweet couple met through a mutual friend who had dated Hector’s brother in high school, and the rest was history. After dating and falling completely in love, Hector knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with beautiful Jannine, and asked her to marry him surrounded by beloved family members.

Hector popped the question on Jannine’s 24th birthday. Her friends and family sang happy birthday to her while holding a sign that read, “Happy Birthday.” Once the singing was over, Hector gave the signal to turn the sign around, which read, “Will you marry me?” “Hector was nervous with all of our family members around and forgot his planned romantic speech before the proposal. He began with “So, we’ve been together for a while…” got down on one knew and then said “Will you marry me?” I said yes with tears of joy, excitement, and that was it! We were engaged to be married!”

Jannine and Hector first saw each other as Jannine walked down the aisle. Jannine felt the happiest she had in her entire life. Hector could not stop staring at his gorgeous wife and felt so proud of who he saw before him. “We were so ready to say I do, we could not stop giggling and smiling at each other, it was just such a pure sense of love and joy. It was a magical experience and one we will never forget. We then went on our way as husband and wife to our reception. Making our entrance by walking down the beautiful staircase at the Cruz Building while the instrumental version of “Tale as Old as Time” played in the background was simply magical. We kissed, we danced, we ate, and we loved every moment of it.”

The ceremony was simple and elegant with the most precious presentation. The décor in the reception site had a vintage chic look. Everything was exactly what Jannine and Hector had hoped for. Lanterns, beautiful floral arrangements, and the lighting at the reception site truly set the mood for their romantic love story.

“Our entire day was filled with love and happiness. The biggest gift of all was being able to celebrate that love and joy with our family and friends. People who have seen us together for three years and have supported our union from the beginning. On this day, we both gained so much more love, so much more friendship, and of course more family members to love.”
