One major perk of having a spring or summer wedding in Middle Tennessee is the abundance of available fresh flowers, like Peonies, Tulips, and Ranunculus. Knestrick by Design loves to include Peonies in bouquets whenever possible and spring is the perfect time. When Peonies aren’t available, they love to include Garden Roses for a similar, full look. “We love to mix different shapes and textures. Lisianthus is perfect if you want to get that airy, unstructured look. As far as greenery goes, our new favorite is Pandora Vine. Seeded Eucalyptus is another favorite. It has a nice dusty green color and trails nicely.”

For spring and summer 2017, brides are choosing soft, loose bouquets that are unstructured and airy. The cascading bouquet is a popular trend that is returning, but more in the sense of having greenery trailing down rather than a full floral cascade. Blush, ivory, and greenery are popular color palettes in floral design year round, and brides are also mixing in pops of peach or coral this season. Summer is the perfect season to add in hot pinks or other brighter colors to the bouquet for a pop of fun. Also, Marsala is an on-trend shade that will work its way into wedding color palettes for 2017.

If you would like to add in a darker shade and add an interesting texture, Knestrick by Design recommends including blackberries in your floral design. They mention that blackberries can look messy in your bridal bouquet, but look incredible in an arrangement next to soft colors and greenery.

We love these beautiful bouquet ideas for your spring and summer wedding floral designs. Mixing the airy, romantic feel of greenery and ivory with pops of peach or pink will give you the perfect spring or summer bouquet!
