Donna and Monne had a beautiful day celebrating their marriage proposal at the lovely Arrington Vineyards in Middle Tennessee. It was a sunny afternoon in late February when Donna asked Monne to marry her at the beautiful vineyard. Donna had emailed Jay Farrell Photography about a month before the session after searching for LGBT friendly photographers in the Nashville area. Monne had no idea that Donna was planning such a special surprise for her, or that the memorable day would be captured for the couple to enjoy for years to come.
Donna and Monne had been dating for over four years after meeting online on Ok Cupid. The couple is from Atlanta and had planned a fun weekend trip to Nashville the weekend of the proposal, but Monne had no idea what Donna had up her sleeve. The proposal and the lovely session were Donna and Jay Farrell’s beautiful secret!
Donna and Jay Farrell planned the perfect weekend for Monne. Being detail oriented, Donna was able to find the absolute perfect location to propose to the love of her life. She traveled from Atlanta to Nashville before the big weekend to pick out the proposal location and to discover some great hotels and restaurants in the city. Jay Farrell met with Donna to discuss the strategy of the proposal session. Donna made it clear that she wanted everything to be perfect for the couple’s special weekend, and Jay Farrell believes this happened flawlessly.
The day of the proposal was beautiful and romantic. Donna scheduled a wine tasting tour at Arrington Vineyards complete with a picnic basket and bottle of wine to enjoy after the proposal. Monne finally discovered that Jay Farrell was involved when they hiked up the hill for the lovely picnic.
