Jaclyn and Travis met during a Fourth of July weekend party at Travis’s parents’ home. Jaclyn decided to come along to the party with her roommate, who was a friend of Travis’s brother. During the party, Jaclyn realized that her drink required a bottle opener, and Travis happened to be wearing a hat with a bottle opener built into the brim. She immediately thought he was handsome and used that stroke of luck to her advantage. From that night on, there was love in the air for Travis and Jaclyn.
Travis planned a spontaneous proposal while Jaclyn had gone to dinner with her friends. His plan was to set up the house with candles, dress in a nice shirt, tie, and slacks and surprise Jaclyn in candlelight when she returned home from dinner. However, Jaclyn’s phone died during the night and Travis did not know when she would be coming home. After dinner, Jaclyn walked into the dark house with only a few candles lit. Travis was running through the living room, and hurried to grab the ring just before she entered the room. He got down on one knee and she realized he was proposing. She said yes as they both laughed at how perfect the proposal turned out to be.
Jaclyn and Travis had a beautiful wedding day with a gorgeous beach theme. White chairs faced the water and sunset with a beautiful, natural ocean backdrop. The bouquets were full of white, peach, coral, grey, and green flowers. The linens were coral, dark grey, and mint green with beautiful handmade clay pot centerpieces from a California vendor local to the couple.
The first time the bride and groom saw each other was during their first reveal photographs. Travis was amazed by how flawless Jaclyn looked in her gorgeous dress. Without thinking, he said “Can you look like this every day?” They both laughed, and she has not let him forget about that comment.
The wedding day was full of beautiful weather and a perfect sunset. Jaclyn and Travis were thrilled to spend this special time with their families. “The reception was a big party with a lot of dancing which is exactlywhat we wanted. The food and drinks were amazing. We could not have ask for a more perfect day. Everything about our relationship has always been fun, light hearted and not so serious. How we met, the proposal and even our wedding. The organizing and planning were exactly what we wanted and the wedding and reception represented us as a couple perfectly. I think you can see in our pictures that we really enjoyed the day and so did everyone else who was involved.”
