Bonnie and Ali met with Jay Farrell Photography last year just before Thanksgiving to discuss their wedding ideas. What had originally been planned to be an October wedding ended up being pushed to New Years Eve. With only one month to plan the wedding, everything looked lovely and the two had a beautiful and intimate East Nashville wedding.
The couple’s first look was in front of the old Roxy Theater in Cleveland Park. Ali arrived at the theater in a beautiful 1961 Jaguar, and waited for Bonnie and their son, Asher. Not only was this the place where Bonnie and Ali would see each other for the first time, the car was also a surprise for Bonnie. Bonnie couldn’t have been more excited and the car was the perfect place to capture some portrait photos.
The official wedding ceremony was officiated in front of immediate family by Mayor Megan Barry at her house! The couple wanted their day to feel intimate and had their reception at a friend’s home in East Nashville. After a few group portraits, the couple enjoyed a second ceremony under a tent for all of their friends and family to enjoy. After some touching speeches, a big dance party, and plenty of food and drinks, the couple said goodnight to their wedding day and hello to their new life together. The entire day was everything the couple hoped it would be.
