Meg and Ty knew each other for several years before they started dating. They had the same group of friends, so they saw each other pretty frequently. Ty mentioned that he wanted to work in Meg’s field of work, so she gave his resume to her coworkers. A few interviews later, Meg and Ty started working together. He moved on to a new job a few months later, and they started dating. They have been completely in love ever since!
Ty planned a romantic surprise proposal for Meg. She typically gets home from work much earlier than Ty, so he left work early to hide his car and beat her home for the surprise. However, Meg thought that they were going out to dinner in the evening, so she decided to work late and wait for him to pick her up. Ty patiently waited for Meg to get home on their back porch for two hours. Finally, she pulled in, opened the door, and saw flowers and notes, and made herself to the back porch where Tyler was waiting. He proposed and they were so excited! They went to dinner with their families to celebrate.
Meg had decided she did not want to use any pink elements in her wedding, but that went out the window pretty quickly. Her wedding design was full of blush beauty! There were charcoal and rose gold invitations, white, green, and blush flowers, sequined pink table clothes, and a hint of blush in the cake! There were also pink cocktails for the guests to enjoy as they arrived. Meg ended up loving the way that the design turned out!
Meg and Ty had an absolutely beautiful, exciting wedding day with gorgeous weather, fun music, and lots of friends and family. “We had folks set up a glow stick jump rope and Ty and I even did a couple back flips to really take it up a notch. The night was capped off with a guest appearance by Sir Purr (The Carolina Panthers’ Mascot) on stage leading the band with the song “All I Do Is Win” by Ludacris, Rick Ross, T-Pain & Snoop Dog. Sir Purr was at the end in a golf cart to take us away.”
From the bride: “I didn’t really know what to expect on the day of, but I was overwhelmed with love from my friends and family – from kind and supportive words to special hand written notes to other small gestures and details that only a few people would know that I would pick up on to hugs and kisses. It’s a feeling that I’ll never forget and will hold close. Having all of those people so close is about as special as it gets.”
