Adrienne and Brian are a beautiful couple inside and out. Adrienne knew she had found her soulmate in Brian. He is a gentleman with a great sense of humor, and the two share similar views and values. “This became even more evident when I found out I had an aggressive breast cancer and gave Brian a ‘get out of jail free card’ offer he did not take. Instead, he selflessly stood by my side and took care of me through two surgeries and an aggressive chemotherapy.”
“During the many trips to the doctor’s office, they had photography of tropical landscapes in each room that we would take selfies with and post that we were on our ‘weekly vacation’ during chemo appointments.” Adrienne and Brian were so excited to take real vacation pictures in Key West on their wedding day. “I just hit my two year mark with no active signs of cancer in June.” We are so happy for Adrienne and Brian, and excited to share their beautiful wedding day with you!
Adrienne and Brian first met during a sushi date at Kanpai in Milwaukee. They began dating and fell deeply in love, which led to Brian’s intimate proposal. Brian popped the question during Memorial Day Weekend after the couple had dinner at one of their favorite local restaurants and enjoyed champagne at a local wine bar. They were so excited to become husband and wife! They went on to celebrate their engagement throughout the rest of the holiday weekend in Chicago.
The beautiful wedding day took place at the Hyatt Key West Resort & Spa. This was the first time Adrienne and Brian’s families were meeting, and they were so excited for their loved ones to attend from all over the country, and to be part of their special day. They had a small, intimate wedding with family members. “We were able to enjoy their company and celebrate all week while enjoying the sights and sounds of Key West.”
The wedding design had a tropical feel with the natural beauty of Key West as the focal point. The view from the Hyatt veranda was stunning with the sunset overlooking the water, palm trees, lush greens, beautiful centerpieces of Sahara roses, eucalyptus, hydrangea, and Tiffany roses. The day involved some rain, but everyone enjoyed a gorgeous sunset under the twinkle of patio lights strung from the veranda rafters once the rain ended.
Adrienne and Brian had a wonderful wedding day full of family, love, and celebration. “We are so thankful for everyone who was part of our day and made it special, it was truly a trip to remember and we look forward to celebrating anniversaries in Key West!”
