Working out of the UK, Charlotte Mills creates fabulous bridal shoes that are fun, elegant, and sophisticated all at the same time. Even her bolder, more “colorful” designs are still extremely relatable to today’s bride!
Having always had a passion for shoes, Charlotte went to college and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Product Design & Development for the Fashion Industry. Ever since then, she has been working her way into creating her own line of shoes that expresses the love she has for her craft and the love that her shoes represent. (Hence all of the beautiful heart patterns in most of her designs!)
After finally launching her Bridal Footwear Brand in April 2014, Charlotte’s shoes have quickly grown in popularity in the UK, as well as places like Spain, Ireland, Australia, Germany, the U.S. and more!
The next step was to open a storefront:
‘This is something I have dreamt about from the very beginning. It’s amazing to meet with Brides and help them find their dream shoes. I feel like I am part of their special day, and I find it really inspiring, hearing about each Bride’s story and amazing wedding plans.”
Her store, located in Saddleworth, England, opened its doors on March 12, 2016 with a fabulous launch party and has been booming ever since!
It’s also the only designer, ladies footwear store in that North West area where the shoes are actually designed in house. Charlotte’s studio is located in the store itself, and she makes it a point to be as hands on as possible in helping brides find their dream shoes … and accessories!
Did we mention she also creates handbags, clutches, and other wedding day must-haves?
This designer is obviously going far with her beautiful work. You can tell just by looking at the photos that her shoes are made with great dedication to detail, patience, and most importantly, (especially for Charlotte) love!
She cares so much about the journey her shoes are going to take you in that she even adds a lucky silver sixpence somewhere in the shoe design. It’s one thing for a designer to be so talented … but it’s a completely different story when they genuinely care about their clients and their stories as much as Charlotte does!
Not only are Charlotte’s shoes created with great care, they are also designed to be comfortable and to perfectly accent your wedding day and capture your personality, whether bold, traditional, or somewhere in between!
