The idea of bridal portraits has been around for a long time, but the popularity of them has risen a lot in the past few years. And with good reason!
Your wedding day will be one of the most special days in your life, but all of the work you put into your wedding day look is just as special and significant. Therefore, you deserve to indulge yourself a bit with bridal portraits!
Many brides set aside a time frame on their wedding day for portraits – either before or after the ceremony – but we have noticed that more brides have been planning ahead and actually schedule their bridal portraits days (or even weeks) in advance of their wedding day.
We think this is a great idea!
(Also, remember! Bridal portraits can be for grooms, too! But don’t worry grooms, you can call them something other than “bridal portraits.”)
By planning ahead, you get more time to perfect your look, and you allow yourself a little less stress on the day of the wedding!
You’ll also be wearing your dress and moving around in it for longer than just a fitting, so if any changes or alterations need to be made, you’ll have plenty of time to do so!

So, plan ahead for your bridal portraits if you can! It will help you worry about one less thing on your wedding day so you can fully enjoy your celebration with friends, family, and your honey!
