The year 2007 proved to be a good year for the pair who met while both working in finance. Their proposal was anything but ordinary. Leonardo knew that his future bride, Macarena, had always wanted to swim with the dolphins, which made for the perfect proposal in Cancun, Mexico. When the dolphin show had finished he got down on one knee and made an everlasting vow.
This picture perfect wedding didn’t happen without a few bumps along the way. When Macarena was preparing to walk down the aisle, her dress got caught and she wasn’t able to move. The song continued to play, but no bride proceeded down the aisle. The song proceeded to play again and she was able to walk through the doors. Sweet glances were exchanged and Leonardo told his bride how breathtaking she looked.
The cake was a stunning nine tier design. Images of King Louis XVI graced the reception hall. Clear chandeliers hung from the ceiling while white orchids were strewn across the tables. Touches of gold and white were seen throughout the ceremony and reception. Manzanita trees were decorated with orchids on each table and leaves were projected on the walls while the couple’s new monogram decorated the dance floor.
This regal event was truly a night to remember for Macarena and Leonardo. It was the perfect mix of the couple’s vibrant culture and the royal treatment. We wish you years of happiness, Macarena and Leonardo!
