A Nautical Chic Wedding Weekend

Matt and Kelly’s unforgettable wedding weekend was full of exciting celebrations and activities. With Just Save The Date Event Planning and Design as their full-service wedding planner, Matt and Kelly were in incredible hands as their destination wedding weekend was brought to life.

The wedding weekend began with a welcome McTiki Party on Thursday at Kelly’s parent’s vacation home. This was followed by a Rehearsal Dinner on Friday, and the wedding took place on Saturday. Having a wedding weekend was a wonderful opportunity for Matt and Kelly’s family and friends to relax and enjoy the weekend.

Welcome bags were waiting for Matt and Kelly’s guests as they entered their hotel. The burlap tote bags with bamboo handles were complete with essentials for guests to enjoy, such as mini suntan lotions, bottle openers, a beach towel, and lime green drink cozies that said, “We tied the knot.”

Kelly wanted to incorporate her Irish heritage into the celebration, so she asked guests to wear green to the party. The tables were decorated in green centerpieces while shamrocks and green accents were displayed during the Rehearsal Dinner. Then, dinner was served and the newlyweds and their guests danced the night away in the main ballroom, which was completely transformed with white draping and lots of navy and chartreuse décor.

The nautical chic theme of the wedding weekend was inspired by Key West. Kelly and Matt wanted something clean and classic with a nod to the location.
