This beautiful engagement session took place at the square in downtown Franklin, Tennessee. The talented photographer, Jay Farrell Photography, takes photos with a journalistic approach, so no cheesy poses here! The images radiate the natural love shared between the happy couple, Monique and Caroline.
Caroline grew up in Franklin, so this special spot felt like home to these ladies. The engagement session took place during a gorgeous November afternoon, and the weather was truly perfect with the sun shining bright.
Monique and Caroline met in Atlanta during a college Spanish class that they had together. The two began working on classwork together, and their connection began instantly. After a year of crushing on each other, their first date finally happened with a fun pottery painting experience. This led to a BBQ dinner and a movie at a drive-in theater. After the dinner and movie date, Caroline decided to teach Monique how to drive her stick shift vehicle. This didn’t come very naturally to Monique, and after lots of stalls and laughs, these two were falling for each other more and more every second.
Monique and Caroline’s first date led to the love that they have today, and remains one of their most memorable experiences together!
Caroline is currently active in the military and will be stationed in Korea for nine months, so these two lovebirds will be cherishing the rest of their time together in the USA before Caroline leaves. However, when she returns, these two will be together forever!
We love this beautiful, journalistic engagement session shot by Jay Farrell Photography. Congratulations to Monique and Caroline on their journey towards marriage.
We thank Caroline for her brave service to the United States of America.
