What are some fall flavors The Cupcake Collection is featuring this season?
“Our popular fall flavors include some of our classics like carrot cake and sweet potato, which is a big hit during Thanksgiving; we can barely keep them in the door. I’ve really been thinking of doing something with pumpkin! You never know with me, I like to play on the seasons and stay creative. We’re going to roll out our winter flavors at the beginning of December. We have quite a few holiday cupcakes: egg nog, gingerbread, hot cocoa which is a chocolate cupcake infused with cayenne pepper, and we do a variety of flavors with peppermint. The holidays are always a fun time to experiment with limited edition flavors that people wait all year for.”
What are cupcake/cake decorations that are elegant and don’t just scream FALL?
“With our cakes in particular, we’ve noticed a lot of brides want elegant and simple with a little flair. Our rosette and ruffle cakes have been really popular. Most have opted to keep them white or ivory with a small pop of color like gold or blush. That provides the elegance they need no matter the season.”
What are trends/styles you are seeing for the fall/winter season?
“We’ve noticed a lot of woodland themed weddings; brides want to capture that rustic, timeless look.”
