Allison and Kyle Shepherd’s beautiful wedding day took place on May 17, 2014, a day that they could never forget. The gorgeous, rustic detailed wedding ceremony took place at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Mount Juliet, Tennessee with beautiful memories captured by Lisa Shelby Photography.
It all began through a spontaneous blind date. Thanks to Allison and Kyle’s matchmaker friends, these two were surprisingly introduced having no idea that this was going to happen. The blind date was a success, and led to the love that Allison and Kyle have today.
Allison and Kyle were living together at the time of the proposal. Kyle realized that there was no perfect time to propose due to the couple’s busy lifestyles, so he bit the bullet and bought a ring! The perfect time was right then and there. After a normal evening of dinner and watching TV together, Kyle went to his truck and said he would be right back. Once he came inside, he grabbed Allison’s hand, and she was left breathless. She knew what was coming. Allison started crying while Kyle held her for a few moments. The proposal came at the most perfect, unexpected moment.
When the wedding day began, Allison was very nervous, but as soon as she saw Kyle, everything changed. She was so excited to marry the love of her life and to begin their new journey together as husband and wife. When Kyle saw Allison for the first time walking down the aisle, he couldn’t stop thinking about how beautiful she was and could not wait to say I Do. Allison and Kyle were so excited to become husband and wife, and all of their nerves went away right when they saw each other! “It was the best day of my life!”
