Jennifer and Daniel started dating when they were just 18 years old! They grew up in the same hometown and had mutual friends which brought them even closer. Daniel proposed to Jennifer 12 years later at their son’s first birthday party. Their son wore a personalized onesie that read, “Mommy will you marry Daddy?” How adorable! Daniel got down on one knee with their son and asked Jennifer to marry him in front of all of their closest friends and family. It doesn’t get much sweeter than that! Jennifer and Daniel saw each other during the first look before the beautiful ceremony. This moment was incredibly special because Daniel and their son were waiting to see Jennifer. Jennifer remembers hearing their son say, “Daddy here comes Mommy and she’s wearing a white dress!”
The beautiful ceremony and reception took place at The Stone House at Stirling Ridge in Warren, New Jersey. Jennifer imagined a rustic, vintage wedding that was also classy. She utilized Pinterest to help gather her ideas, then hired a great event decorator who really brought the image to life! Jennifer says, “Everything came out beautifully and I wouldn’t change a thing.” Her favorite element of the wedding was the vintage furniture that surrounded the dance floor and beautiful table settings.
Jennifer and Daniel exchanged very special gifts on their wedding day. She gave Daniel a Movado watch with a personalized watch case as well as a boudoir photo album. Daniel gave Jennifer a gorgeous Michele watch that she had been longing for!
The beautiful day was full of love and laughter and was not stressful or hectic. Everything happened just as Jennifer had planned including the weather! The most important thing for Jennifer and Daniel was to make sure their son was included throughout their special day, from the first look to the ceremony and the reception. Jennifer says, “The day just ran smoothly and I wish it never ended.”
