I am a sucker for sweet love stories and the love story of Lauren Scruggs and Jason Kennedy (you’ve probably heard both of their names before!) is no exception despite their “celebrity” status. The couple tied the knot this weekend amongst their closest family and friends at the Four Seasons in Dallas Friday evening and shared their wedding portrait with People.
You may have heard of Lauren when just three years ago, the model and fashion blogger was in an airplane propeller accident that left her without an arm and her left eye. A year after the accident, Lauren called her recovery a “miracle” and was able to pen a memoir about the experience. She met E! TV Host Jason a year later and sparks flew.
“God has blessed me with somebody I’ve been waiting for my whole life,” Jason said about his new wife. “Lauren changed everything for me and I can’t believe I get to spend the rest of my life with her.”
Bride wore a stunning Romona Keveza gown (one of our favorite wedding designers!) and groom rocked a Tom Ford suit. Bride Lauren later changed into a dress by her friend and local Dallas designer, Nardos Imam.
“Jason has completely changed my life, and I could not be more thankful for who he is and how he loves me,” Lauren added. “I can’t wait to spend forever with him.”
When planning their sweet southern nuptials, the couple knew they wanted a sophisticated color scheme that featured ivory, cream, champagne, blush, lavender and accents of charcoal grey and silver all at the stunning Four Seasons. The couple was headed to Mexico to celebrate being husband and wife. Congrats you two!
