Last night’s 66th Primetime Emmy Awards on NBC was red, white and gorgeous! As stars tried to beat the unusual Los Angeles heat, many turned it out in gorgeous white gowns. From structure to beaded, every star rocking the “lack” of color knocked it out of the park! Above are a few stars wearing the big white trend (I mean, we did have to sneak it in before Labor Day!) but below are my five favorite white looks from the night. Gorgeous options for wedding gowns, no?
1. Michelle Monaghan in Giambattista Valli Couture
I love the sophistication of this Giambattista Valli gown. The simplicity of the gown, paired with the dramatic slit, creates both sexiness and elegance all in one. I love Michelle’s use of gold accessories to play up the white. Super chic for a winter wedding!
2. Julianne Hough in DSquared
Dancing with the Stars
I am crazy about the structure of this dress! The manipulation of the fabric creates a beautiful gown that looks killer on Julianne. I love her choice of a pointed white pump- keeping things very classic! This would be a beautiful gown for a wedding taking place in a museum or art gallery. Très chic!
3. Taylor Schilling in Zuhair Murad Couture
Orange is the New Black
Taylor Schilling is my girl and I love her choice of this pale, beige, beaded Zuhair Murad gown that hugs at all the right places. Zuhair is the master when it comes to sexy silhouettes with a touch of sparkly glamour. How glam would this be for a evening wedding in a city? The back adds more fun details with a peekaboo as well. Killer.
4. Lucy Liu in Zac Posen
Lucy Liu’s ethereal Zac Posen gown is all romance. I love the soft chiffon that drapes behind her and the touch of sheer on the sides of the gown. She looks like a fairytale! This gown would be perfect for any type of wedding!
5. Hayden Panettiere in Lorena Sarbu
There are multiple reasons why Hayden has made my list. First of all, the girl is absolutely rocking the baby bump (she revealed she’s having a baby girl!). Secondly, she stars in the ABC show Nashville so I’m slightly biased to our home base. And finally, this sparkly gown is every girl’s dream! I love the cap sleeves and the way it drapes just ever so slightly on the bottom. Her bohemian hair pulls the whole look together. I could see any Enchanted Brides’ Bride rock this look! Obsessed.
Who had your favorite look of the night? There were so many lovely ladies to choose from!
