Inspiring Garden Style

According to the calendar, it is official. Spring is here! And over here at Enchanted Brides, we love spring. Not only does that mean longer days (more hours to look at gorgeous wedding inspirations!), but it means everyone from Nashville to Miami is leaving the winter season behind and embracing what we in the wedding industry like to call wedding season! So as you busy Tennessee and South Florida brides either hone in on the last few details of your spring/summer wedding or you are newly engaged seeking inspiration for next year, here is a little spring inspired style post to put you in the spring mood.

One of our favorite style color combinations for spring is pink, navy, gray, silver, white & green. We love incorporating the greys, silvers, and navy colors into the decor (Menu Cards, Invitations, Seating Charts, etc). Then, the pinks, whites, and greens can come in with your floral design. That balance of simple and toned down decor with the bright and beautiful flowers is undeniable. It keeps things classic and clean, but adds just the right amount of a special touch for your spring wedding. To add to that “spring feel” the flowers should be natural and almost carefree with their design. Keeping the design elegantly simple and finding the fun in your flowers really adds to the garden feel.

Here are some examples from a shoot we did for Enchanted Brides’ latest Middle Tennessee Issue of this gorgeous color combination at one of our favorite venues Mere Bulles and see how it could inspire your wedding!

We love pulling in the garden theme with this gorgeous dusty blue tablecloth and  linen napkins provided by Southern Events Party Rental.

Here is a great example of that juxtaposition between the soft grey and blues with the bright green of the flowers. We absolutely love this floral arrangement by Jim Knestrick of Knestrick by Design!

And we love the pop of pink with the peonies and roses! There is something very fresh about the pink, cream, and bright green colors of the floral arrangement. And lets take a minute to admire that gorgeous vase provided by Knestrick by Design

Here is the seating chart-keeping to that clean and classic look of this spring garden theme. We love the scripted font for the bride and groom and then a classic font for the guests. The card stock used is in cream with a stain finish. The ink is navy, which adds a royal touch to the whole affair. And what a fun way to display your seating chart on this great easel!

Check out that gorgeous sunshine highlighting those flowers! That is what we love to see with our spring weddings. This photo shows a great overall classic look of this style. Clean lines, beautiful china, sophisticated chiavari chairs, and those gorgeous flowers being the focal point. With this theme, you cannot go wrong!

All of these photos show how easy and beautiful a simple garden theme can be achieved for your special day. The blues and grey decor matches perfectly with the pinks, white, and green of the floral design. It is a match made in heaven- just like you and your groom!

Now go out there and soak up the spring!
